Characterization of cellophane birefringence due to uniaxial strain by focused surface plasmon microscopy

چکیده
In this paper, we study the relationship of local birefringence and stress oriented inhomogeneous elasticity a sample from spatial frequency response focused surface plasmon (FSP). The varies propagation constant with regard to its direction produces an elliptic absorption pattern in reflected distribution. Birefringence is calculated ratio along fast slow axis sample. change eccentricity was proportional applied on cellophane film. A strong correlation (0.94∼0.97) exists between FSP phase shifting interferometry results.
